Time to get a summer glow! - Clarins Radiance Booster

Hello! Hope you are well?

I keep seeing all these girls with fabulous make up free faces, how do they achieve this amazing complexion without makeup!?!

Well I came across this product recently and I've decided to give it a go here is a link to the  Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster:

On their website they currently offer 10% off so get in there quick, they have also offered to double up on samples..result!

The website states:

Simply mix the self tanner with any Clarins face care product to add an extra self-tanning benefit to all of the hydrating, anti-ageing and firming actions of your usual day and night creams.

• A 100% safe ultra-simple step for radiant skin that is incredibly natural-looking.
• Can be tailored to your desired level of self-tan by adding 1, 2 or 3 drops.
• A subtle self-tanning effect in addition to the benefits of your day and night creams.

Dermatologically tested. Non-comedogenic. Suitable for all skin types.

I Love the Packaging

The bit I found the hardest was making sure that I didn't put too much moisturiser in my hand, How do I know what's enough to meet the ratio?

Put the moisturiser in your hand and then add a few drops of the oil by clicking the handy little button on top.

I started with just two clicks as I didn't want to end up like an Oompa Lumpa (I am a face tanning virgin)

You can see here the drops in with my current moisturiser

Then I applied it all over my face, neck and decolletage (as instructed by Clarins lady)

Before I applied this Tanning oil I followed my usual routine of Double cleanse, Glycolic Toner, Serum and then followed with this combo of Oil & Moisturiser.

It's Non-Comedogenic which means that it should not clog your pores, I haven't noticed any breakouts since i've been using it (Hooray) but it is very early days

Here's a little pic with the oil on:

This is the next day - So we will class this as Day 1:

Not sure if I notice a difference or not, I feel like maybe my freckles are showing more?

Day 2: I'm trying to take the photos in the same place (Bathroom) so that we get a fair representation of the product.

What do we think of day two? the lighting looks different, maybe because I didn't have the main lights on just natural window light but I feel like I look a little more tanned in places, especially my forehead. I hate taking photos without makeup on 😨

Tonight I will be brave and will try three drops to see if it makes a difference. I like this product because it doesn't replace my current moisturiser and it doesn't really feel like an additional step into my routine.

UPDATE: DAY 3 (three drops) - definitely a tan developing here, I think 3 drops is the way to go. Not sure if I need to do this everyday or not but I will keep going until I start to look too orange 😂

I will continue to keep adding pictures each day in order for you to see how the product works.

The Clarins lady in Bluewater also gave me lots of free samples which I cannot wait to try

I shall let you know if there are any that I love.

Do you have a face tan that you like to use? Have you used this product and did you like it? Tell me in the comments below

With Love
