Konjac Sponge Review

Hi Guys,

After a recent recommendation from a friend, I decided to purchase one of these Konjac Sponges. I currently use a Muslin cloth with my cleanser but I do sometimes find that this can be a bit rough on my face.

Konjac Chamomile Facial Sponge

I went for the Chamomile one as I wanted something that would not irritate my sensitive spot prone skin! 

When you first open the pack it is hard, don't freak out it's not dried up it just needs a little rinse 😊

Rinse it under the tap until it goes soft.

You can use this with or without cleanser. Because of the nature of the sponge it already includes all the goodness that you need in order to cleanse your skin.

However I did need to use my Pixi Cleanser  in order to get my Estée Lauder double wear foundation off.

When I rub this sponge on my face it feels Divine! I literally can't explain how good this feels on my face. Its exfoliating yet soft at the same time this is definitely going to be heavily used in skincare routine.

They say it's like a having a mini facial everyday and I have to agree, I feel like my face is being massaged, I think I could quite happily lay on a bed and get someone to rub this all over my face for a while.

I notice they have bought out a range for the body, If the face sponge is anything to go by then the body one will be just as good.

The sponge itself is completely natural product with no added ingredients and it's vegan/cruelty free. Because this sponge is essential a plant it is 100% biodegradable too

Below you can see how it is grown, essentially it's grown like a potato with the plant on top and the Konjac below the root.

You can see below a picture of how it looks on the outside, once you have cut through the skin you are left with what is used as a Konjac sponge.

I love the fact that this product is completely natural and that you are basically rubbing a plant on your face to get all of the goodness!

I think everyone should get one of these for their routines as it just feels AMAZING!
