My Top 5 Lipsticks

I see a trend in colours here

1. Trish Mcevoy - Lip Colour Pink Nude
This is my favourite ever lipstick! I Love the way this applies, I love the feel of it on my lips and I love the scent! I cannot get enough of this Lipstick and I keep rebuying it! 🙊

This lipstick has a minty smell to it and it tingles ever so slightly when applied, According to to website it is infused with a 'peptide building complex' to boost lips and moisturise. I think it does what it says on the tin and I LOVE it!

I also love the packaging it is a beautiful case that has that satisfying magnetic click!

2. Estée Lauder - Pure Colour Envy Sculpting lipstick - Impulsive
This was the first ever lipstick that I bought and started my love of Lipsticks (Previously I was a Gloss kinda girl) I bought this for my wedding as I was advised that lipstick shows up better in pictures.

This is my second favorite because it is also super creamy, long lasting and quite pigmented. I do feel that my lips are hydrated when I wear this but not as plumped as lipstick number 1.

The website states that is has a 'Multi-Faceted Pigments and has a time released Moisture complex'

Both Estée lauder lipsticks both have that fabulous magnetic closing case that I just love! ❤

Lipstick 2 - Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy Sculpting

3. Estée Lauder - Pure Colour Envy Hi Lustre Lipstick - Bold Innocent

This lipstick is slightly more pinky and more shiny, than the others. I do feel that the pigment is not as strong as the others and the texture isn't as creamy but I do love the pretty colour.

4. Benefit - They're real! double the lip - Lusty Rose

This is a new type of Lipstick that you will may find convenient or you may find it to be a pain in the backside. I do like the idea of it containing a Lip liner too but I do feel that it's better in theory than in practise, I do feel that with a few improvements it could be better.

I do love the colour on this and it is slightly more matte than the others. The colours do complement each other well and my lips did look fuller.

4. NYX Cosmetics - Butter Gloss - Angel Food Cake

Ok so this is a bit of a cheat, as technically it's not a lipstick but I still love it! Its creamy and glossy but not in the same way as a lip gloss. I used to love lipglosses but the one thing I hated about them is that they have a sticky sensation and when you purse your mouth it feels yuk!

I suffer with quite dry lips and anyone that knows me will know that I constantly reapply lipstick/gloss, I need to feel something on my lips at all times..... unless im sleeping and even then I put a balm on! With the NYX I don't feel the need to keep reapplying as I can just feel that it's there, it lasts quite a while and is cheap too! BARGAIN!

That's my current Top 5! I will continue to keep trying new lipsticks as this is something that I'm keen to experiment with, I just think it completes your face and its really important to get it right.
